Eligibility
Participants of all age groups, above 10 years, are welcome to register for "The Madurai Marathon" in their respective categories. Prizes and awards will be granted exclusively to Indian citizens.
Race Categories
The Madurai Marathon" offers three race categories: 21km, 10.5km, and 5km. Participants can choose their preferred category during registration.
Health and Safety
All participants are required to acknowledge and accept that they are running at their own risk. Participants with pre-existing medical conditions, including heart patients and individuals with other health risks, should consult with a medical professional before participating. It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure they are physically fit to take part in the event.
Awards and Prizes
Prizes and awards will be distributed only to Indian citizens who finish within the stipulated time in their respective categories. Foreign participants will receive recognition and participation certificates but will not be eligible for cash prizes or medals.
Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner and adhere to the rules and regulations of the event. Any form of cheating, misbehavior, or violation of the event rules may result in disqualification.
Registration Fees
Participants must pay the registration fee as specified on the event website. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Cancellation and Refund
In the event of a cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, the organizers will make every effort to notify participants and provide information regarding refunds, if applicable.
Photography and Videography
By participating in "The Madurai Marathon," participants consent to being photographed and/or filmed during the event. The organizers may use these images for promotional purposes..
Changes to Event Details
The organizers reserve the right to make changes to event details, including the route, start times, or any other aspect, as deemed necessary for safety or operational reasons.
Liability Waiver
All participants are required to sign a liability waiver during the registration process, releasing the event organizers, sponsors, and associated parties from any liability for injuries or accidents that may occur during the event.
